Hello, It’s nice to meet you!

Reagan McCarthy is an Illustrator based on Boston’s North Shore.

In childhood, her early signs of artistic interest were encouraged and fostered, leading to a period of intense experimentation and creative development. This was aided by educators at Columbus’s College of Art and Design in Ohio, as well as many, many, workshops taken at Bourne Public Library during summers on Cape Cod. For want of a more formal and contemporary education, she attended Montserrat College of Art in Beverly, Massachusetts, where she received her BFA with a focus in Illustration. During her time at Montserrat, Reagan discovered and studied many creative forms, with the majority of her efforts spent directed towards observation-focused illustrations and the occasional animation-based course.

Today, Reagan enjoys taking her work in a journalistic direction, intent on learning from and sharing what she sees with the world. She considers life itself her primary source of inspiration, and prides herself in the practice of seeing beyond the mundane.

I’m still working on it
